TWO YEARS SEPARATION WITH CONSENT

If the spouses have been separated for two years, and there hasn’t been any reconciliation during this period, one spouse can ask the Court for a divorce, so long as they have the written consent of the other spouse. Usually the parties will split the costs of a divorce based on this fact.
