Last week, the UK-France Data Innovation Taskforce issued a series of recommendations on how the UK and France could work together to use data to stimulate economic growth and improve society. The two countries already have a close relationship in this regard, but following this report are hoping to use data to help further fuel the economy and make improvements for businesses and consumers. The countries are hoping to create sister schemes and programmes, and to share best practice on skills and policies, among other initiatives.
