On the back of our weekly hour of fun and friendly business networking on twitter at #Belfasthour we are now holding a breakfast meetup.

Taking place on Thursday, December 10th, from 8.15am to 9.15am, Join us at The Bobbin Café in Belfast City Hall not just to put faces to the twitter accounts but also to listen to the two excellent speakers we have lined up and to make new business connections.
The Bobbin is managed by Loaf Catering & Cafes, a social enterprise subsidiary of NOW Group, which supports people with barriers to employment and learning into the workforce across Northern Ireland. Loaf’s kitchens are also accredited training sites where it provides on-the-job training and work experience placements for NOW Group’s catering trainees with learning difficulties.

Our speakers:

Maeve Monaghan is the Chief Executive of NOW Group and has been at the forefront of developing Northern Ireland’s social enterprise sector. NOW Group is a pioneer in the area of delivering supported employment, training and volunteer services aimed at supported people with learning difficulties to be work ready or better engaged with their surroundings.

David Sturgess heads Edwards& Co’s SME unit advising start ups and established business on how to best structure their business and supporting entrepreneurs and their ideas from inception to growth.

On this occasion we have decided to make a £10 cover charge and the whole amount you pay will be given to BOWELCANCER, Edwards & Co’s Charity of the Year for 2015.

We will be making a draw at the event and the winner will become a featured business on #belfasthour and get the opportunity to trend on twitter!
